This article is about Series Two of Call The Midwife.

Series Two was first broadcast in 2013 and told further tales of the inhabitants of Nonnatus House and their work in the community of Poplar, London in the 1950s.

Along with childbirth, the second series addressed issues such as domestic violence, child neglect, immigration and racism, neonatal death, the treatment of children born with disabilities, illegal abortions and a tuberculosis epidemic.
